My Story

Black Med Meet was born from a simple belief: meaningful connections create meaningful change.

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary healthcare professionals whose dedication, compassion, and expertise inspire me every day. Yet I also recognized that opportunities to intentionally connect, collaborate, and celebrate Black excellence across healthcare disciplines were often limited.

I envisioned a space where physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, therapists, administrators, and other healthcare professionals could come together—not because they work in the same organization, but because they share a commitment to excellence and to lifting one another higher.

Black Med Meet is that space.

This event is about building genuine relationships, sharing ideas, discovering opportunities, and creating a community that continues to grow long after the event ends.
